Wellness on Valentine's Day

Valentine 's Day is fast approaching, and with it comes the planning for this special day. Some are looking forward to spending a romantic evening with their loved ones . Others are celebrating their single status . If you're still undecided about how you'll spend February 14th , we have a few ideas for you.

1. DIGITAL DETOX

A digital detox is perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy the day, or even just an evening detox, free from distractions . This allows you to focus on what's most important to you today. Your loved ones will also appreciate a little extra attention from you instead of your digital significant other. BONUS : Anyone wanting to avoid red hearts , declarations of love , and chocolates today should also put their phone away. Without constant connection to the outside world, you also won't have to see those annoying couples suddenly bursting with love.

2. WORKOUT TOGETHER - STAY TOGETHER

Following the motto " Sweat together, stay together, " you can plan your workout with a partner today. Exercising together is simply more fun – the perfect date for those who aren't into the cheesy stuff. This way you can spend time together, motivate each other, and enjoy the endorphin rush after your workout...

3. NUMBER ONE - YOUR OWN BODY

Number one is still YOU . To make sure you don't forget that, take extra care of yourself today. Think about what you love most about yourself. Write yourself a love letter highlighting all your wonderful strengths. When you need a pick-me-up , read the letter and you'll realize just how much you're truly worth!

4. HEALTHY VALENTINE'S DAY TREATS

We certainly have nothing against indulging in chocolates, especially since chocolate simply makes us happy . But we still want to feel good afterward. So how about a healthier alternative that makes us happy all around and provides us with sweetness?

One idea would be to dip strawberries , or other berries, in dark chocolate . This way you can quickly create your own delicious pralines that are both sweet and packed with vitamins! Plus, the darker the chocolate , the more endorphins are released, and you'll feel a warm, comforting sensation after indulging.

Another idea for a sweet dessert is – what could be more fitting – "Hot Love ." However, you can swap the vanilla ice cream for homemade banana ice cream. Freeze the bananas in advance so you can easily blend them into a creamy mixture later using a (stick) blender. Garnish the finished ice cream with hot berries, and your slightly different version of "Hot Love" is ready!

5. SAY SOMETHING NICE

Your friends will surely appreciate a compliment . Make it a point to say something nice to an acquaintance today, or (next level) even to a stranger . We all know how great it feels to receive a little attention . Of course, it shouldn't seem forced, but why not simply tell the other person if there's something you particularly like about them? You'll definitely feel a lot better afterward!

6. SPEND THE DAY WITH FAVORITE PEOPLE

Today is all about love . So why not spend some time with the people you love ? Whether it's that special someone in your life, or you simply prefer spending time with your best friends – do something nice ! After all, this day is meant for wonderful moments with loved ones!

On Valentine's Day, do all your favorite things that make you happy! Start in the morning by putting on your favorite outfit and spend your lunch break with your favorite colleagues . Listen to your favorite music in between so you can keep your good mood going all day. In the evening, treat yourself to your favorite meal in front of your favorite movie with your favorite people . Or go to your favorite bar and drink your favorite cocktail . Oh, and for the night, don't forget to slip into your favorite pajamas ;)

Hahaha, Valentine's Day isn't for everyone... if you hate it, just turn your phone off so you don't have to see those annoying hearts. Spend the day like it's a normal Friday and be happy, because tomorrow it will all be over .
