Staying home is fun this way!

For everyone who's starting to feel cooped up at home, here are our top tips on how to cope and even have fun!

1. Chill out!

One of the most important things when working from home: taking breaks. We all know the feeling: there's always something to do at home. But unfortunately, after working from home, we tend to empty our closets and then sort the jam jars in the kitchen. Now that we have time, we finally have to tidy up! Yes, but please still think about your own well-being and don't let yourself get pressured. Even if your friend is already on the 10th drawer and you're only on the 2nd shelf: breaks are important! This also applies to working from home. The motto here is: fixed working hours and breaks. You can finally design the latter however you like! How about a run? Or perhaps a leisurely lunch? Important: #LookAfterYourself

2. Fitness from home

Even if your mood isn't always great right now, we have a magic bullet for a better mood: exercise. Whether it's a home workout, a long yoga session, or a leisurely walk in the fresh air, fitness isn't just important for boosting your immune system; it also releases endorphins, which lifts your spirits. And if you combine that with exercise in the fresh air and sunshine, a good mood is guaranteed.

3. Go on foot

There are other easy ways to incorporate more exercise into your daily routine. For example, you could do your shopping on foot or by bike. This way you get some fresh air, get a bit of exercise, and are also very environmentally friendly. Plus, you avoid contact with other people on public transport.

4. Sports & Mindfulness Apps

Now is finally the time to try something new. There are so many great apps that can help you focus on your well-being. You can set yourself a personal challenge and get closer to your goals with the help of fitness apps. Mindfulness and meditation apps can also help you keep a clear head.

Keep an eye out for special fitness offers. Many fitness trainers and studios are currently offering great online workout options. If you find something you particularly like, you'll be even more excited for when the lockdown is over!

5. Board games

Constantly binge-watching TV series gets boring after a while – there aren't that many good shows out there! So, if you're lucky enough not to be isolating alone, why not dig out those good old board games? A game night is a fun alternative to watching movies at home. Besides, what's more exciting than a round of Monopoly? Just remember that you'll be seeing each other again in the next few days, so please don't upset anyone!

6. Date Night

Ah, how about a really cool house party? A cozy evening with friends? Impossible, you say. Absolutely, we say! Simply arrange a "date" with friends and use apps like "House Party" to connect. This way, you can meet up regularly, even now. Everyone grabs a drink and a snack, and off you go! You could also host a game night: Games like Categories or a pub quiz can easily be played via video call.
