DIY - The best mocktails for summer

For those hot August days, we've come up with something really special for you: four refreshing drinks you can easily make yourself. In this post, we'll share the recipes for the Waltz7 team's four favorite mocktails . So get ready, it's going to be fresh, fruity, and exotic!

For those wondering what "mocktails" are – no, that's not a typo! Mocktail is the term for non-alcoholic cocktails , meaning cocktails without alcohol. To make sure we don't forget orders in the office amidst all the cocktails, but still stay refreshed, we've compiled the recipes for our (non-alcoholic) favorites .

Virgin Pina Colada

The first drink is a well-known exotic classic – Piña Colada. Believe us, even the non-alcoholic version is incredibly creamy! One sip of this Piña Colada and you're suddenly on the beach , listening to the sound of the sea

For 4 cocktails you will need:

200ml pineapple juice

200ml coconut milk

30g sugar

½ cup whipped cream

1 tsp vanilla extract (or vanilla sugar)

ice cubes

Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend well. Serve your Piña Colada in round glasses and garnish with a slice of pineapple . It's that easy!

Virgin Peach-Raspberry Bellini

This drink is perfect for peach season ; perhaps you can even use fruit from your garden . Especially when combined with fresh raspberries , this non-alcoholic Bellini tastes wonderfully fruity ! Perfect as an aperitif to end a hot summer day .

For 4 cocktails you will need:

200g peeled and pitted peaches

300ml peach juice

300ml soda water

200g raspberries

Fresh mint for garnish

ice cubes

Cut the peaches into wedges and blend them with the peach juice in a blender. Add the soda water and blend very briefly – just enough to combine the peach mixture and soda. Then divide the raspberries and ice among four glasses and add a few mint leaves to each. Pour the peach-soda mixture into the glasses and your peach-raspberry Bellinis are ready!

Watermelon Margaritas

A margarita is a must-have at any bar, but we've given ours a twist . We use watermelon in our drink. That means extra freshness and cooling ! By the way, if you'd like to cool down in the shower and have developed a taste for melon , why not try our melon and mint shower bomb ?

For 4 cocktails you will need:

1 small chilled watermelon

2 limes

4 tsp honey

100ml soda

ice cubes

Cut the watermelon into large chunks and remove as many seeds as possible. Blend the watermelon in a blender . Add the juice of the two limes and the honey , and blend again. Pour the watermelon mixture over ice in tall glasses and top with soda water. Enjoy this deliciously fruity refreshment !

Mojito Mocktail

The Mojito Mocktail is Waltz7's all-time favorite , so here's the recipe again (in case you missed our post ). Also, lime and mint is our favorite scent of the month. We love the refreshing burst of mint – a Mojito is always a good idea!

For 4 cocktails you will need:

4 limes

20 mint leaves

4 tsp elderflower syrup

1L Soda

ice cubes

Squeeze the juice from 3 limes and divide it between 4 large glasses . Add 5 mint leaves to each glass. Next, add a splash of elderflower syrup to each glass. Top with soda water and add ice cubes as desired. Slice the remaining lime and use the slices to garnish the drinks. Enjoy!
