It's incredible how time flies...the trademark "Waltz7" was registered on September 22, 2015.
For 7 years, Waltz7 has stood for wellness in the shower .
But how did we come across "Waltz7"?
That's why "Waltz": We were looking for a name that embodies both lightness and joie de vivre. We're based in the capital of the "Viennese Waltz," so what could be more fitting than a carefree dance of the senses? Thus, with "Waltz," the first part was already found.
That's why the "7": Unfortunately, we dance far too rarely, and usually only on special occasions. But we desperately need lightness and joy in our everyday lives. As a brand, we stand for that daily , short break. Seven days a week, we help you fully relax and recharge. Plus, with our products, you'll be floating on your very own cloud nine.
Taken together, "Waltz7" represents a daily mini-vacation within your own four walls, bringing more balance and joy to everyday life. Helping you achieve this has been our motivation every morning for the past seven years.
Our vision at Waltz7 is that each of us has the power to briefly pause our world to take a breath.

An idea that came to me while showering: The effect was like pure magic.
Thomas was always busy. Appointments, clients, friends, sports, and hardly any time for himself. Relaxation usually only happened while traveling. So, when the hotel spa closed during a business trip in 2013, he was very disappointed. He would take long showers in the evenings to unwind, but he still missed out on the true wellness experience.
That's when Thomas had the idea to drip the essential pine oil - originally brought for the sauna infusion - onto the floor of the shower into the warm water.
The effect was pure magic : Enveloped in a gentle cloud of ethereal vapors beneath the warm, rippling water, the world suddenly seemed to stand still for that moment.
What remains is the strong desire for such a magical moment every day.
The idea for "wellness in the shower" was born.

Thomas & Thomas started with citric acid, lime powder as a binder, essential Swiss pine oil, and muffin tins. The idea was to bind pure essential oil and press it into tablet form. This was intended to distribute the wellness effect evenly throughout the entire shower. However, the first attempts only resulted in a clogged drain.
It wasn't until 2015 that Thomas & Thomas, together with the Technical University of Dortmund, succeeded in gently encapsulating natural essential oils and pressing them into effervescent tablets after more than 18 months of development – the wellness shower tablet was invented.
The Wellness Shower Tablet is the first additive specifically designed for the shower, transforming it into your own personal wellness oasis. For the first time, wellness and the magical effects of essential oil vapors are available in measured doses, easy to use in any shower, and accessible to everyone.
We called the wellness shower tablets "shower bombs" with a fragrance explosion in the shower like a sauna infusion or in a steam bath.
