Fragrance belongs in the nose - no one has to forgo pleasant scents while showering.

Some of you can probably relate: itching or even redness on the skin after showering or with freshly washed clothes. Unfortunately, more and more people are affected by contact allergies. Some even have to avoid regular shower gel or perfumes.

Fragrances and contact allergies

If someone has an allergic reaction to fragrances, it is in most cases a contact allergy . Simply put, this means that the body reacts allergically to certain substances wherever it comes into contact with them. This can result in an inflammatory reaction, which is triggered not by antibodies, but by so-called T cells (a subgroup of white blood cells). Quite complex...

Possible causes

Allergic reactions can be triggered by so-called allergens . These are substances that mostly occur naturally in the environment and cause no reaction in most people. However, environmental pollution can cause toxins to enter the body through food or clothing, making us more sensitive. In some cases, a genetic predisposition may also be present, or stress, for example, may be responsible for allergic reactions. This is also true for allergens in personal care products.

Showers without fragrance - (not) a solution

We weren't initially aware of the great added value of the shower tablets. It was only a message from a dear customer (and now good friend) almost a year ago that made it clear to us:

As you know, our shower tablets separate fragrance from skincare – the natural scent from the shower tablets remains purely for the nose and doesn't perfume either skin or hair. This means that even those who want to avoid perfumed shower gels due to sensitive skin and have to use "eco" products can still enjoy a refreshing shower experience. Enjoy a pleasant fragrance experience in the shower .

Furthermore, we use natural essential oils in our fragrances, which we are particularly proud of. But enough about us – instead, we would like to say thank you again to Birgit for your creativity and for sharing it with us! We now have many more regular customers who also value not perfuming their skin with shower gels!
